FOOD DRIVE
The St. Patrick Outreach Committee makes weekly food deliveries to Catholic Charities in New London, Groton Food Locker and
Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center. This is possible thanks to the generosity of parishioners. Examples of food items and other necessities include canned meat/fruit (with pull tabs), cereal, peanut butter, oatmeal, baby food, granola bars, kids snacks, etc. Items may be left in the Center during weekday mornings or in the basket by the front entrance of the church.
MEAL CENTER
The Outreach Committee is involved with the New London Meal Center.
On the Second Tuesday of each month
we prepare a taco salad dinner for the New London community.
We welcome volunteers to cook/serve from 4 pm to 6:30 pm.
Please contact Trina Vargas to sign up: vargas.trina@gmail.com
WELCOME COMMITTEE
We welcome new parishioners and invite you to get in touch with us to hear about parish life and about opportunities to serve.
'WELCOME HOME' BASKETS
We are involved with the New London Homeless Hospitality Center and Safe Futures of New London and provide baskets of household items to assist people when they transition to new apartments.
ANGELS OF HOPE
We welcome donations of baby items, new and gently used.
Please leave in the crib in the foyer of the Center.
COFFEE & CONNECTIONS
Join us for a social time to relax and to meet fellow parishioners.
We meet once a month on the FIRST THURSDAY from 10am - 11am.
(except if there is a holyday. Then we meet the following Thursday)
All ages, from babies to boomers. All welcome!
